This year I did a lot of on line shopping

I bought my 5 grand-kids their first bible but did shop for their P. J's.

A couple of kids DVD with their picture being the main character, (spider man and Dora (one of her friends) they are 30 minute movie with their face being a character, so realistic.

the heart and stroke calendars for about 5 of our family members so hope they win something this year.

than did shop for my one daughter, and bought a few things she needed for the house.

Also just called TSC and ordered somethings and are waiting for those to come in.

But the good thing is I am done.

I am bad when I get into those stores and see the great deals, and usually buy more than on my list.

How is your Christmas Shopping going or are you done?

I still have a couple things to find and I'm waiting on a couple mail order, including items for secret santa, so if it doesn't arrive really soon, I may have to change my ideas around a little bit, so I can ship soon.

Well, I haven't even begun to shop! I am always running behind and am wrapping gifts on Christmas eve.

I do admire all of you, who are done though.

Where did you find the dvd with the children's pictures as the character? That sounds like a fun gift.

I'm with you...I did 99% of my shopping online on CyberMonday and found some great deals. It is so easy! Only my mouse clicking hand is tired, not my entire body from fighting the christmas shopping crowds. The UPS man shows up a few times and ta-da, my shoppig is complete.

At least yours is arriving in a timely manner, I ordered on Black Friday and nada, zip, zilch; guess I'll be rethinking my secret santa gift and buying locally if there is anything available.

I am done for my hubby and my son, but no where near finished on my hand made gifts. Im knitting hats and scarves for the women, making homemade vanilla extract, some homemade kahlua, and also glass block lamps for the men. A big set back is I called the glass shop to schedule a time to have my blocks drilled (they told me two months ago they would do it, and its was a small fee, but worth it to save me the time) and was now told they are no longer doing it. Really wish I would have known sooner, ugh.

Oh that is what I hate about some businesses, just do not care about satisfying costumers now a days.

Sorry to hear this. Especially at Christmas time.

That dvd thing sounds so cool...I almost wish my nieces/nephews were little again so I could buy them one!

All my shopping is done! I didn't do any online shopping this year as it is kind of a pain as all my gifts get shipped out of state and I like to wrap them myself first so it seemed silly to pay for double shipping, I just finished up last night. I have ups'd 3 of my boxes of gifts out and have one more to send....2 more gifts to wrap and I can ship out that final box. All my decorations have been up for over a week and I wrote out all my Christmas cards last night...so I'm done done done!

...now time to relax a bit.

I only have my own son left (tsk! tsk!) as of today ( I do have a few things for him). Didn't get the hubby anything (I could buy him another mini-wink! wink!). What he would probably like is a brand new truck and a beautiful 5th wheel mini hitch wagon with the fanciest trimmings (hmmm! "If I win the lottery")

Well this recession hasn't been kind to us! I don't believe in credit cards and don't have any, so if I can't pay cash, I don't buy. So since I don't have any cash I can't buy much. I have 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great Granchildren, most are getting homemade gifts, except the real little ones will get toys, but not expensive. The important thing is, we will be together and celebrate the birth of our Lord. We will laugh, hug, kiss, and sing, eat and enjoy each other. Times are tough, but it doesn't mean we can't enjoy! Not much shopping going on here, Oh well! We'll get through. Happy birthday Jesus!

Well...I am gonna get all my shopping done in one day next week (gift cards, Kindle, sweaters, etc.). I know exactly what I'm getting and where to go, so that makes it easy but...I'll be using my credit card

Not stressed here at all...Kev and I are foregoing Christmas this year, in terms of a tree, lights, etc. Just too busy with puppies etc. We'll do our Christmas on the 23rd (gifts, champagne, hors doevres (sp)....), and then I'll go to Toronto to spend Christmas with family and friends while he has Christmas with his relatives. Too stressed with other stuff to stress about Christmas this year
