It doesn't bother me one way or the other. This is a huge forum and hundreds of diverse people on here with

familes and lives and sometimes complicated lives. Sometimes they have to choose what they

want to reply to and who.

Don't take stuff so personally! Get on with it, next time you might get tons of replies. I don't show in the big

time but know it's must be neat to be an ALL Star so congratulations for sure, but I don't even know what it

means.

I think it's Wintertime. There's a flavor of depression on the forum these days, lots of feelings showing up, "touchiness" etc. I think once the gray days are gone and the babies arrive and the smell of fresh mown hay is in the air we will all feel better.HUGS TO YOU ALL.

I mostly just lurk around, since I am kinda new here. Congrats on your All Star!

Congratulations on your All Star!! :aktion033: :aktion033: :aktion033:

That is too bad if you feel that way!

I am sure it is not intentional!

Congrats on your All star success

I have to post less Hubbys says I am addicted to this site

Keep trying, I can't think why people would intentionally ignore you.

You're not the only one. Sometimes I engage my sense of humor, and it drops like a lead balloon!

Be happy....we're not in Pakistan living in plastic tarps while the snow comes down.

I am sorry I missed yor post so here is a BIG CONGRADULATIONS to you. :aktion033: I dont think I have ever felt ignored on the forum, sometimes when I post (which isnt that often) I get alot of replies other times hardly nothing, so I just take it with a grain of salt and go on.

: I do know there are a very few who post, which always seem to be very negative towards everyone else, those I stay away from..because even if you do post on those, the poster will just keep coming back with more negative comments..so those- YES I do ignore. Smile :bgrin and chin up

Hey Jessie!!!!! Congratulations! I didn't know that!

I used to think I was paranoid,

Then I came to the realization that people just didn't like me. :new_shocked:

Congratulations on your All Star

I don't think it's that anyone doesn't like a particular person, for the most part. I don't post on certain topics simply because I don't have time, but I look at most of them. I don't post many topics because I guess I don't have anything interesting to say. Things have changed recently on the board - many new posters, etc. (not that that is bad). But things are different than about a year ago. I have noticed, that if one posts their opinion and it doesn't agree with the majority, some will not forget it. I don't always agree with everyone, but I don't let that stop me from posting on topics. Remember, these are just words here and in no way does words define a person. Does that make sense?

Opinions are like arseholes - everyone has them and they all think theirs is the only one that doesn't stink! :bgrin

There are also the "popular" posters, usually ones that have been here a while, people may not realize that you are "dazzler79", I think some people only post on topics of people they recognize. I admit, I have been guilty of that, especially with all the new people.

This place is getting so big anymore - I use to reply to all threads in one way or another, even is it was just " :aktion033: ", but I don't have time anymore - there are always new threads poping up, I can't keep up.

Just don't take it personally. How is your Dad doing by the way?

The fact that so many people think they are ignored or disliked should tell you something...

On occasion I've thought that I've "killed" a thread...that once I posted, nobody else did. Then I heard a number of others think they had this magical power, LOL

I've always been so self-centered now and then to think people didn't respond to my posts because I'm too outspoken...okay, to be honest, sometimes I still think this, but it never shuts me up¡

Really, I have to figure that with the number of members on this forum, that I don't count for squat and nobody would care enough to actively ignore me.

Hopefully not everyone is as neurotic as I am!

But seriouslyCrossbuck/Dazzler, I can't imagine anyone consciously ignoring anyone. (And that includes you, Ashley, although I do get the impression that you're still ticked at me...see, what did I say about me being neurotic?!)

Susanne.......you have such a great sense of humor. I just loved that statement and I really think for the most part it is true. I don't think anyone actively ignores anyone. You know what they say.......S##T happens. I certainly would not let somebody responding to me or not ruin my day.

Now I have thought about something else. Those little numbers on how many posts we make? Well, IMHO they need to go. So many make a numbers game out of this and I think it causes too many problems. I also think it is really bogus to think that someone who has 10,000 posts is better than someone who has 100 posts. Maybe putting everyone on a level playing field would help?

I guess that kind of struck me as odd that anyone would think someone was "better" for having more posts, maybe more talkative... but hey I was kind of proud for Lisa (RuffnTuff) for being the first to hit the Order me an LB toetag level and then Marty. Now those girls can talk! :bgrin

Well Triggy......it is ODD.......very ODD! But not everyone thinks like you or me.

But some feel because they do not have many posts that they are ignored. Goes along with feeling judged by how many post you have.

And then some feel it's a race to see how many posts you can rack up in a day.....like a contest.

So odd or not those are some of the things that I have been made aware of.

Carol
