Today my much older brother john called me on my way home from school and told me he had a secrete to tell me and i couldnt tell anyone or even talk about it untill he revealed it. Well he got a new truck for dad, BRAND NEW!!!. 2005 Chevy 4 door ...automatic (meaning i can drive it ..yay) ..leather heated seats ...will pool a goose-neck horsetrailer (what we been looking for to pull our new one) ...the whole thing. Its red, dads face color. Its a christmas present and John said that he is picking it up friday around 9am and bring it over. He said for me to think of someway to break the news to dad friday/suprise him. I am fresh out of idea's!!.
Its so hard, keeping a secrete take up way to much energy and everytime i see dad i giggle and its so hard to keep it in. Mom and I are the only ones who know about it ...other then Johns wife and kids.
Thing is, dad is going to COMPLETELY FLIP when he see's it and im worried ..here are the possible reactions im expecting to get from him.
1) JOY: he will be happy to finially be able to sell the old truck and show this baby off.
2) BREAK A CHAIR OVER JOHNS HEAD, lol (our family shows love in silly ways): John doesnt pay dad his check regularly and hasnt paid him in a while and all dads been doing is Bi ....complaning (
). So im expecting him to just loose his mind when he see's that money went toward a truck he did NOT need ...this will be funny though if it happened.
3) HAVE A HEART ATTACK AND FALL OVER DEAD: Dad is 73yrs old
. You cannot throw something like this at a 73yr old man ...lord i see it already.
4) He might actually exept it and who knows ..maybe smile!
So i now have to keep this a secrete 4 days (well tues, wed, thurs) and pray for no school Friday since its going to snow wed,thurs&friday all day so i can see this happen or i might stay home from school untill around Noon to see the reaction.
We just dont have any clue how to suprise dad. This is supose to be a christmas gift but i dont know how to do it. I never had to suprise someone with something this big before ...
