Well if you think that was gross.........hear this........
In the Philappines (sp?) -- at least from/in home country -- they feel that an egg with an embryo started is a delicacy!! So, those eggs that are just forming embryos (see the shape, no feathers) are eaten
OH! Now THAT IS GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, hey it is their culture.
In survival school you are taught about which grubs/worms are to be eaten
I used to keep chickens because I just like to watch them, love the biddies and interactions with the hen and absolutely love to gather eggs! Just do not like to eat them.
