I must be outta my mind

Well, I got suckered into being a coach for a high school equestrian team. This is the biggest team in the state, 25 kids, 2 count them, 2 coaches for the pattern equitation stuff. This weekend is the first meet and one of the mini kids didn't make grade.

She was borrowing a horse so it isn't available so guess who is taking a 2 yo out of pasture and training it in two days to be an obstacle horse. The Gods must be Crazy as the saying goes. All the minis will be mine for the team with the seasoned horse being a pinto champion, a very talented 3 yo, a 2 yo in training and now a pasture ornament who is not going to be happy. Somebody just shoot me!!!!!!!

Kathi....actually I am jealous!! This is the 1st year (after 9 years) that I am not involved at all in my daughter's 4-H or OHSET teams...and I feel kind of lost!!

: I plan to go to a few meets to support OHSET, but I miss the meetings and the girls!!
