To my American neighbors and friends, please know that my thoughts are with you and all the families of the innocent ones that lost their lives on this day. The world will not forget what was done to these victims.

My thoughts are also on 9/11 today. I did not lose anyone personally close to me, but I did lose some business associates that day from Fred Alger Management.

Unfortunately, I do think the world, and much more importantly, many US citizens, forgot and all too soon. "Remembering" is so very much more than commemorating and mentioning a date on the calendar.

I was moved by the following remark...

"Remembrance is worthless without resolve. Resolve is useless without action. 11 years after the 9/11 Islamic jihadist attacks that took nearly 3,000 innocent lives, America is still blinded by political correctness. What are you doing to remain vigilant?" -- Michelle Malkin, 9/11/12

Unfortunately Jill it is not only the Islamic Jihadist we must be vigilant about, we must all be vigilant against ALL those that use fear tactics to further their agenda, those that incite hate. We must be very careful not to fuel hatred that can spill over and encompass the entire muslim faith. That is a real danger and one that would make us as intolerant as fanatics from any religious group. Fanatics come in many colors, from many faiths and many nationalities such as the below. Hate has no conscience and does not discriminate. It consumes our souls.

Michelle Malkin' that you qoted endorses this group.

You see, it is not just the Iranian - Islamic jihadists that are a danger to our societies.

Absolutely. I didn't say anything to imply otherwise, and Michelle Malkin's quote that I found so insightful is regarding ISLAM, not IRAN.

Yes and the site that I linked to is about Islamic Jihad. Thank you for the correction, Islamic jihadist is what I meant. I was still thinking about my other thread on Iran and Israel. I have corrected my posts.

I need to apologize to members here. I should have left my initial heartfelt comment and left it at that and not responded to any responses that detract from the essence of the message. Forgive me.

Thank you for this post Danielle. Those terrorist attacks were on the USA, but they were also on the world and affected the world. People of many countries and faiths & backgrounds died that day.

I remember that day like it was yesterday and I will NEVER forget. It changed me forever, as it has many others.

Danielle, clearly you are referring to my post as no one else had commented. I'm sorry that you seem to feel my opinion takes away from your own. My opinion is as heart felt and sincere as yours... I said absolutely nothing that I shouldn't have said.
