hi

does anybody know anything about the seminar on dwarf minis that was mentioned in the article in the Irish Field last week?

Irish Miniature Horse and Shetland Pony Society nor MHPSI know anything about it, so i was jsut wondering about it and is anyone gooing to it?

Also does anyone have any thoughts on the article because i must have read it wrong or something as the woman who was quoted throughout it said that minis under 28" should not be breed from yet she herself has been showning a full colt approx 26" all summer and has since sold him ungelded as a stallion prospect.

So im abit confused.

She also said that she runs the register for minis in Ireland but she has withdrawn (as is my understanding) of the Irish miniature society, so does anybody know if she has set up a new club?

i just got the farm week and theres somthing in it about a new registery for minis, i dont think it will take off though as there are TWO strong societys already in Ireland at the miniute, i think its just another club looking to make money

: its also in the south of Ireland which is no good to me as im staying up north this year....goood luck whoever you are ...youll need it

I got registration papers in for a new society but have to find them to quote exactly, don't remember asking for them tho. Was this last weeks irish field or this weekends from the 28th oct ?

the only thing that was in the irish field was a thing about dwarfs,but it did mention the person that was going to be running it, I think it was her that wrote it as she kept plugging her stallion it also gave a number for it in the farm week, im staying clear
