All the outside trim and sofet work will be finished in spring, or as time allows. For now, we're going to concentrate on the inside.

Dave ran out of white steel, so he used all green on one of the big split doors till he can get more ordered, and now we can't decide what we like. Can you give us your opinion? White with green on the bottom, or all green? I kinda like the all green. The sofet work and trim will all be green, and keep in mind that the service door is going to get painted green as well.

Thats awasome! I like the white with the green on the bottom. but not all green, it looks too dark

CONGRATULATIONS! Your barn looks beautiful! I like it both way...I guess you could leave them so that they are each different!

Your barn looks a lot like mine. We are going to add some green trim around mine this spring. Mine is just too white.

I love your green doors. I think you should add black hardware, (door handles) and it would finish it off really nicely. You can also add a little deco to them in white if you like such as your logo or a horse head or horse shoes or something else in white on the door to tie it all in. Looks great. Keep them green.

Here's my doors with some Christmas holly on them right now:

Keep it the way it is.... I like both of them!

Your barn is great..you will be spending lots of time 'playing' out there. Wonder what the horses will think of their new accommodation?

Gorgeous barn, Geri!!! I think white with a green bottom would look nicest but it will look fabulous no matter what color. Really great job on that barn!

all i can say is...IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!!! yayyy, the boys are comin' home!!!
Boy do I hear you sister! This has been 2 1/2 months to long for me! I have been going through a major hug withdrawl for weeks now. But, it has truly been a labor of love, and the pictures just don't show everything that went into this BIG project my hubby took on. Through the snow, wind, frigid temps, lack of sleep, and just overall frustration (admittedly sometimes from me), it has been a long project. I don't quite think that hubby knew exactly what he was taking on when he said he could build it no problem, but I do know he has put his heart and soul into this FOR ME!

I think the white with green door wins out.........though the green one will stay like it is for now, at least until spring. I think we'll be really happy with that decision once everything is completed. Thanks for the feedback on that! And Marty, I think your barn would look wonderful with some green trim on the bottom! It's really a beautiful barn you've got there right now as is.

Geri, lets see the inside! I love snooping in barns.

Yes my barn is sooooo bland looking. Just way too white. I'm going around the bottom with a green stripe in spring and do some other accents and painting the inside concrete walls green too. I'm putting up hanging baskets on the sides too which should help it out.

Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh Marty..................wanna come decorate my barn!

It's an empty slate inside right now, you could do wonders with it! All that's in there for now is some steel panel pens.

I like the all green myself, reminds me of Kentucky barns somehow..but then there's Marty's which are so nice..lovely barn! Lucky horses.
