Well my second foal finally arrived. THis mare has been bagged and making me get up for nights. Though forsure she wasnt ever going to foal. This mare decided this year to do something a bit abnormal for her. At my midnight check last night she was waxed and hand milk so I knew things were finally going to go somewhere, and soon.

Then at about 3:30 am this little guy was born! He is so funny to watch. I put him outside as its warmer out there than in the barn. HE is trying to learn to run but spins in circles. Once he finally figured out how to run he took off forward for a bit, than sideways, then crashed to the ground. But he got back up and tried agian.

He is only about 4 hours old in these pics so has a lot of changing to do, but I already like this boy, and so far he has NO signs of graying. I know I planed on getting rid of all the minis but I am seriously considering keeping this boy for Emma. I love this mares foals, they have a personality and are always super friendly.

I would also bet he grays out, but he is a cutie and congrats on your new baby! Sometimes it seems they take FOREVER!!!

Well I will take that bet as I really dont think he is going to. This mare has been in the family for 10 years, only one of her foals grayed.

He has no signs of it at all right now.
