Ok, I am so excited that I could just bust!
Cruising the Lil Beginnings Sale Board (a daily occurance) what do I see but a stallion I've always admired! Ok, heck, drooled over!
And they say they may accept a trade! I write, offer one of three mares, we do the back and forth of questions, etc, and voila`! A horse trade has been done, and we are both thrilled! We will be waiting til Nationals to do the actual swap (and save on transport fees) but that's only three months away. Wow. So introducing the newest stallion to Magic Mist Miniatures, from Cherokee Rose Miniatures, Jandts Precious Pimples, otherwise known as "Cowboy" (for obvious reasons lol).
And going to Cherokee Rose Miniatures is Magic Mist Mirage, shown here (hairy) with her foal from last year:
Mirage is being bred to the cremello homozygous pinto stallion that we are leasing this year, and I hope that she has a very colorful filly (or colt if she would prefer) for Carrie at Cherokee Rose. I'm so excited to be adding another buckskin appaloosa stallion to our herd! We have quite a few boys but I just love the boys, and like to be able to choose the best stallion to compliment each mare for breeding.
Sorry, I am just rambling on, I am just so happy and I'd like to say a great big public THANK YOU to Carrie of Cherokee Rose, and may you love Mirage as we have and have lovely foals by her!
