I thought this was cute and wanted to share.

This is Silver Belle with the "old cat"....The "Old Cat"

has been here for many years now. He comes and goes,

but now that he's gotten old, he seems to just stay here

now. He does not want to be touched but allows the horses

to nuzzle him and abuse him. He's been stomped on, bitten,

pawed at, you name it but he still loves the horses.

He's quite the wreck; very skinny, but he eats well.

A couple of years back

we set a trap for him and managed to get him to the mobile

spay and neutar clinic and get him de-wormed while he was

sedated and some shots. Funny thing is that he stays with

the horses 24-7 no matter where they are, in the barn or

out in the field,

he stays right with them all the time.

How Neat!! I love those old cats, we have one that we know is at least 17 years old. He has never been a house cat but has always lived in the barn - one very cold night, he wanted to come in the house and he is no longer a barn cat but now lives in the house. I figure with 2 HUGE German Shepherds, one rescued sheltie, one rescued poodle and 2 cats - what is one more!!!!

I have an old kitty too that's starting to show her age but she doesn't have a nice barn like that to stay in! I was just thinking how far you've come, remember last yr at this time, how your barn looked? Cute little Silver Belle!
