Some forum names are obvious, like your's truly.

But some really have me wondering! ( Voodoo and wcr are two that come to mind.

I need to change mine to just my name because this username was our old farm name, but now it is Fox Glen Miniatures.

Well, I'd better reply since I was specifically named
wink.gif
. Mine came from one of my favorite rope horses Voodoo. She was old time Voodoo Wheels bred mare so I called her Voodoo. Always liked the name and I signed onto here right after I had to sell her, $$$ issues

. Anyway it was a good way for me to keep her around even after she was gone. If that makes any sense

Here's a picture of her

When I signed up I didn't realize that my user name would become my forum name. Part of my email address is sedeh which are just my and my husbands initials. I can answer for wcr....her ranch is Wards Creek Ranch, and I don't think she realized that her user name would become her forum name either.

Mine is my first name tina and the cvt stands for certified veterinary technician, which I am, so tinacvt

Mary Lou can change your forum names if you want and you won't lose your number of posts either!

Mine is just my initials. R.E.O. Robin E. Olmstead

I couldn't think of anything else at the time

Well I figured KS for my state and cowgirl, cause it went together so well!

I have thought about changing it to match my farm name, but didn't want to lose my posts and start over.

Ferrah is not my name...but the name of my full sized horse, a 21 year old Arab X QH who has been the best horse teacher I have ever had.

Ferrah is the dun horse!

Fred is actually the nickname of my stallion Rolling Ridge Rum Runner. He is the

first mini I have had to show. He is quite a character and I guess we are a pair.

He has a soft spot in my heart and he is truly a keeper. Linda B

Well I signed up years ago under tshack as that was my log in name when I first was introduced to online stuff, T for Teresa and Shack for Shackelford. , never even thought about using the Double T name , but oh well it's differnet than others. LOL I'll keep it.

Rabbit is my dear old boy- Fizz is his Granddaughter and this was the only name I could finally get Yahoo to accept so I stuck with it. Now, for some reason, my farm name, Shadowplay, has been accepted by all the other Forums I'm on, but I'm happy answering to Rabbit or Fizzy!!!

I live in North Carolina, the rest is I hope understandable.

When I got our stallion Hopes I was playing with names for his first foal. Our farm name is Diminutive Miniatures and if the baby was a fily we figured to name her "Dimimore Alfalfa Bits" and call her Bitsy. But it was a colt. When backwoodsnanny told me about the forum shortly there after the name "Dimimore" just seemed right. Back then I was always looking for more as in "Gimme more".

Well geeesh Lori--you should know the answer to this one
wink.gif
Its always been our farm name. I thought about using our old stable name, from when I still had my stable in Mequon, which was RiverBend Saddlebreds, (for obvious reasons) but figured after we bought this farm, 33 yrs ago, it needed its own name. of course back then it was MeadowRidge Arabians, now its just MeadowRidge Miniatures, then there was a time I was going to change it to Nakota Wind Farm..

..lol..just kidding!
