I found some great muckers yestarday at Tractor Supply.

They are black, ankle high, zip up the front and makes them very easy to get on and off and also have fur around the top, lined inside very well all for $19.00 !!!!!!

They do run big and wide. I took a size smaller than what I normally would wear, and they are still roomy inside, just in case someone wants to order any, get a size smaller. Perfect for people with wide feet.

My feet are always freezing during the winter so these will be perfect for the barn.

What great buys have you found?

What would I give for a Tractor Supply..our nearest one is an hour away in good driving weather;( Maybe I'll try the website..thanks Marty.

As far as good buys, best I can do is we got a new battery for our big tractor today, (we plow snow with it) for only $71. They are 8volt and hard to find. Usually 90-100. But it was at a local parts supply store, not a chain.

Anyway it saved us upwards of $30 and since we've had over $250 unexpected vet bills in the past month we were glad for the savings on the battery.

I found a pair of sneaker boots for the winter in L.L. Bean catalog and asked "Santa Hubby" for them. They're only $50.00 and they keep the cold and wet out. They have them in lace ups or strap closures. Black, off white and blue are the colors. I asked for the black, that way the dirt won't show up that much.

Well I could'nt find the women's online, but here is a link to the men's style...and they're more online than in the catalog.

well it wasn't me exactly but we have been looking for those digital picture frames to come down in price and my husband found them at Walmart on sale for $50 which is less than half what we have seen them for up until now. so he quick picked up two and we have our Christmas early! i love it, i can take ALL my critter kids to work with me,multiple shots of each, and don't have to put up a GALLERY of photo frames

I dont think we have a tractor supply here bummer just today was thinking i need a good pair of cheap boots as the water seeped thru my shoes lol

anyone have any suggestions for a decent digital camera around 100 bucks or so?

Well I found a great deal got a samsung camera at Fred Myers it was normally 149 marked down to 119 then down to 111 and they had a coupon for any purchase in the electronics dept over 100 bucks get 20 bucks off so for less then 100 bucks I got a decent camera

I think the sale's over now, but my son found Kingston 1 GB thumb drives for FREE. Even shipping free. They were offering a $10 off sale, with a discount on the drives, they were $9.99 and FREE shipping if you used the Google checkout. We ordered three of them!!!

Stocking stuffer, anyone?

I don't know of any other things like that. I've been so out of touch after the last week. I have to get back into the swing of things, but it involves shopping around here, not any of the big box stores other than local ones we already have like Fred Meyer.

Just say NO to Wal-Mart.

New Stove and Dishwasher.

Dishwasher died over a year ago...and the oven caught fire when just warming it up..element died.

So DH and I decided to just replace them. Both were on sale and will be our Xmas gifts to each other for a couple of years.

Only stocking stuffers... DH & DS would like some British Allsorts....as they do not get them very often. I know, not america made but Hubby is part brit and likes a little taste of the UK once in awhile.

[SIZE=14pt]For a cute inexpensive kid's gift, CVS has a soft brown reindeer stuffed animal that sings and dances. Oh and he has Christmas lights strung all over his antlers and they flash while he sings. They are advertised for $4.99 if you buy 3 American Greeting cards, but I asked if I could just buy the reindeer and I got him for the same price instead of $14.99 on the tag. I thought it was a really good deal for the singing reindeer!

Marty,

We had just bought Dave one of those electric nail guns ( :DOH! technical name escapes me right now) for $129 at Menards, and a week later on "Black Friday" they were on sale for $69 from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I bought a new one for that price, and then turned around and returned it with the old receipt and got the difference back! We got him a miter saw for $69 that same day, it to was originally over $100! He wanted these tools for building the barn so it was great timing!

That same "black friday" I went to Kohls looking for a feather bed that my step-daughter wanted for christmas. Last one they had, and it was the size she needed for her bed too! It was originally priced at $139.99, and I got it for $34.99! The other step-daughter wanted a heated blanket, and I found that at Kohls too. Originally $65, marked down to $24.99! I waited in line for 45 minutes to check out, but it was so worth it!

Crescendo Acres made me a gift basket. They put a gift certificate, clipper lube, oil, blade caddy, shampoo, muzzle trimmer. It was a perfect gift for a horse lover.

At a craft fair last weeekend a friend was selling handmade natural soaps. She had individual bars and homegrown loofas. She had little packages with a bar of soap and a loofa for $3!!! I got one for every woman I am shopping for and one for myself in Milk and Honey!

Cabela's had "Ear Bags" on sale for half price. Really nice in cold weather to protect your ears.

Had a repoduction done on one of my Grandmother's paintings to give to hubby for Yule. Is a beautiful clipper ship.

Other than the Niece's and Nephew's Amazon gift cards.. haven't done much shopping this year.

i am picky what i spend my money on but i have found a few good deals. i have big horses. well we went to a tack swap around this area and i found a show halter light brown with a silver bar over the nose and i think they called them bones or something but it has silver beads going up the cheeks it is gorgeous and my halter i had bought for $45 from a friend. well i seen this one at the tack swap and figured i would never own it but what the heck lets look like were interested so i looked at the price and my jaw hit the ground when i saw it at $5 i had no regrets handing that lady a 5 dollar bill.
