It is just so sad that it has had to come to this. The irresponsible dog owners are the ones that need to be held accountable!

I can not get the pictures of Traveller out of my head. Poor little fellow has been in my thoughts alot. I do hope you are able to get everything resolved soon. Lots of well wishes headed your way.

Good news. Glad to read that the pack number is shrinking. To bad none of the dogs had tags - I'd love to see the owners hauled in!

Tony, I am so glad to hear that there are 3 dogs less..I hope you get them all! I'm glad to hear that Traveller is starting to heal. I can't get those pictures of him out of my mind. Poor boy.. I hope you can get your dogs caught and back home so they can do their job. At this point, it just might be a blessing that they aren't there to get in the way of the gunmen.

I am so glad that you were, hopefully, able to get at least one of the dogs! :aktion033: Being a MAJOR dog lover it is hard to think about shooting one, BUT, if any dogs were threatening my horses or worse.....I wouldn't hesitate to kill it! I hope that you get some satisfaction out of this. The dog owners, in my humble opinion, owe you at least an apology if not MAJOR financial reimbursement! I will be hoping and praying that all of the dogs that were responsible are caught and put down. By now they are no longer a family pet but wild animals.
