That's too funny. As long as an intruder is willing to play ball he's ok

All you guys comments are giving me a good chuckle!

Lori...yes they do get pretty big and heavy....she is 8 months old and a couple of weeks ago weighed in at 94 lbs. She's expected to get around 120 lbs. However not as big as the English Mastiff...they are HUGE - er !!! I hope soon Tiff will be able to post a pic of her "little" boy Storm. He's just a baby too.

Oh, I love that picture, we had a dog while I was growing up....he was half St. Bernard & 1/2 Great Dane....he looked just like a Mastiff......and his favorite toy was a Softball....and you know that darn dog could HIDE the whole ball in his mouth...not a small baseball, but a big old Softball..... he was so much fun and he had energy for about 5 to 10 mins a day, the rest of the day he slept .....

My little sister used to put a saddle on him and try to lunge him in the arena, man your picture just brought back a flood of memories. Thanks for sharing.

Where did you buy Lakota? I just love her coloring.

Valerie, we got Lakota from a breeder here in southern NJ. She came from a littter of 14 pups. Your walking down memory lane with your St. Bernard/Dane cross made me smile. Sounds like something I would've done when I was little!

Oh we've gone thru quite a few balls with Lakota already. I think I will have to buy stock in them pretty soon. She always finds a way to punch a hole in them. Even her Jolly Ball she's chewed the handle...so it only comes out to play every now and then. Her softball did'nt last even 2 minutes with her...and her tennis balls that she loves to carry around get the fuzz pulled off of them!
