Yes, have stayed up many many nights, went into town, thinking usually not during the day, gone for maybe 45 minutes and come home to a baby.

Have gone from the barn to get a coffee and returned and baby is already out.

It has happen to the best of us, they have it so quickly, and sometimes no signs.

So so very sorry for your loss, hope you have sometime to adjust and change your mind on foaling, it can also be so blessed

I feel for you as it always is so hard. We lost our third foal in several years the other day and it is never easy. Hang in there.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

No matter how hard we try we just can't always be there for them. Sometimes it turns out okay and sometimes it doesn't. This year my "sneaky mare" had hers during the daytime while I was napping from being up all night....her foal was fine though. The other mare I was with during foaling and we lost that foal. So you just never know.

So, so sorry for your loss! I get so attached to these little ones before they are born, it must be a dreadful loss! (((((Hugs)))))) and Prayers sent your way!
