The big storms have just hit Indiana, started out as bad storms, very high winds, 60 mph about 2 hours ago. They are still about 1-1 1/2 hours form us, in central part of state, but are now tornado's.

We are currently getting a ton of rain that sounds like rocks hitting the windows with the high winds.

I have a little one in the barn that is scared to death of the metal roof when it pops, and right now, that is all it's doing.

You all stay safe. I hope they calm down before they get here, but last report, 10 minutes ago, they are intensifying.

Hope you'll report in after they are through.

Here it is the middle of February and we just got done with a spectacular electrical storm. When it started I wondered what was going on. Weird for this time of year. Winds have picked up. I am just glad its not just a little colder I would be faced with digging out again.

Digging out is probably the LAST thing you should be doing, Vic, given that you just hurt your back!

Carolyn, and all, do please check in as I know how terrifying that big weather can be.

I will hope that nothing bad happens and all are safe.

:saludando: Except for a bunch of limbs to pick up, we're all ok! Electricity went on and off a few times, a few yard decorations are now across the road, and the siding guy did a great job from the other day, cause it's still on! The storm did die down some and break up right before it got to us. I know the west/central part of the state wasn't as lucky.

Gosh, I thought we had a few more months before we had to deal with this stuff.

AAARRRRGGG, ALL OK HERE. JUST OUR DOG WE ADOPTED LAST YEAR AT THIS TIME AT 10 WEEKS OLD IS NOW AN INSIDE OUTSIDE DOG THAT WEIGHS 110 LBS, IS BIGGER THAN QUITE A FEW OF OUR MINIS, WELL HE DECIDED RIGHT BEFORE THE STORM TO TACKLE A SKUNK AND GOT SPRAYED FOR THE FIRST TIME. AAAARRGGG. DOES HE STINK, HE CAN'T COME IN THE HOUSE NOW FOR PROBABLY 2 WEEKS OR MORE, IT IS DRIVING HIM CRAZY. OF COURSE HE HAS ACCESS TO THE BARN AND A SHED BUT HE HAS TO STAY UP BY THE HOUSE, SO THE SMELL OF SKUNK IS STAYING IN THE HOUSE.

NEED REMEDYS FOR SKUNK SMELL, ANYONE? HATE TO BRING HIM IN FOR A BATH, BUT WITH THIS COLD WEATHER MAY JUST HAVE TO THIS WEEKEND. OOOOO WEEE.
