We brought Minnie home almost two weeks ago and I can't believe the difference already. She is starting to gain some weight, and can now trot. Hard to imagine that not too long ago all she could do was shuffle along barely walking. She was feeling quite frisky today and had her first lesson in who was boss. I'm so glad to see her feeling better even though she's a bit more of a handful now. She is becoming such a pretty girl now I just had to show her off. I started an album of pictures from when we first brought her home so you can really see the difference.

You are doing a great job with her and I'm sure she is happy you rescued her. Her feet look so much better, I can't imagine how hard it was for her to walk before. She's looking loved and happy, keep up the good work and keep us updated on how she's doing. She looks like such a doll

I commend you for a job well done. That is very sad the condition of her feet in pic. # 30. You are doing a great job .

I can't believe you managed to get all the burrs out of her forelock without snatching her bald, she looks great. Keep up the good work.

That's wonderful to hear! She's looking great, a beautiful girl!

She is such a pretty girl. It is always great to hear the success stories. I hope she continues to improve and to be a good girl for you.

Thank you everyone. I am just still amazed at how fast she's bounced back. She was such a sad pathetic creature when I first saw her, and she's just blossoming. The burrs were a lot of fun to get out. The reason it took me two weeks to finally get updated pictures. She was so good for it all though long as I let her graze while I worked on them. I'm really amazed she still has as much hair as she does too. She is so fun and now I'm trying to convince hubby I need a whole herd of minis.

Guess it's true you can't have just one. We need to get some land of our own first but he did give me hope in saying there's plenty of time for that.

I think he really likes the little ones more than he's willing to let on.

Wow - you are doing wonderful things for that poor horse! - looking at the BEFORE of the feet is horrific --
