Well I was wondering if it would ever actually happen but the date is set and by November 15th Havencroft Miniatures will be moved from Cuba City WI to a couple of hours north to Westby WI.
This journey all started almost exactly a year ago when Noel was reorganized out of his job.
Last March he was hired into a new job, (which he loves) and the search began for a new home. We listed ours for sale on Apr 1st.
We found a property in July, but this one hadn't sold, we went ahead and bought it anyway but the amount of work it needs is Awesome".
We felt we needed to get moved before the "snow flies" and so set a date.
Cross your fingers, make a wish or say a prayer, whatever you believe, the real estate agent says she has an offer for us.
TThe possibility that this could all fall together at the last minute is amazing.
Noel has been so busy running fence where there was absolutely none and running water hydrants, trying to get "run-ins" accessible for shelter, the man has been working amazingly hard.
Wish us well I have just over a week to get REALLY organized, and thank goodness I have "movers" coming in and packing and moving us.
They won't take any "barn stuff" but that we can handle.
It's going to take a while to make the new place "pretty" we will be happy to settle for functional this winter.
Here we go, on a 'wing and a prayer"
