Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
It has been a long emotional rollercoaster. He shouldn't have been put on the respirator against his wishes in the first place. I do understand his Wife not wanting to let him go. In the end they knew it was time to remove it. He was in pain from the Tumor and unable to breathe on his own. This poor man has been in pain for over two years and the drs couldn't find the reason for all of it. His pain is gone and he is now in a much better place. I am a believer and I have faith he is with the rest of our family and sharing stories with them at this time. That would be my Mother, my sister, and four of our brothers. I also have two neices and a nephew that should be there waiting for us.
I know we will meet again. I know he is now strong and healthy. I will take a couple days off work and think of him and spend that time with my horses. They understand more than people think. They will share my emotions and understand them. I don't know what I would do without them.
