My favorite day of the year

Everyone has a favorite day. I wait for this day anxiously to come. Just two more weeks and it is here. How will

Isn't daylight savings on March 14th this year? I'm looking forward to it too. I need more daylight hours after work.

You are right, I did a web search for the date and it said the 12th but it's the 14th early am. I'm still just as excited thought. More daylight more time to play outside after work.

My favorite days are the Summer and Winter Solstices: Winter, because the days begin getting longer; Summer, because that is the longest day of the year. Every late winter and spring, I delight in each day being longer than the previous day.

It occurred to me this morning that the first day of spring and the first day of winter would be good beginning and ending dates for daylight savings time.

We had it left in place all year many years back.....LOVED it. Wish they'd do it again.

What would REALLY help at my farm (other than winning the lottery) would be to have 28 hr days!

Just never have nough time.

I suspect with 28hr days they would decide to up the day labor to 10hrs a day normal rather than working 8 hrs a day and we would just lose some of the added time.

Otherwise what a great idea.
