MY FIRST 2009 FOAL!!

Here is our first foal of the year!!!

Last year I had 16 breeding age mares but I bred less than 1/2 and we only expecting 6 foals. Then in March, our little mare Fox lost a tiny colt because of a twisted cord.

We're off to a great start with the 5 we have coming!

This is the first ever foal of Kickapoo Moon's Phantom Feather! (Topper) I bought Topper the day he was born and have waited a Loooong time for this! And boy! Was this colt worth the wait!

Tango did a great job! I need to test this boy for homozygous pinto and LWO!

He has two blue eyes and a war bonnet! He's just perfectly straight and upheaded!

I need help thinking of a name! Something with Phantom in it, and maybe something with a dance in it, I like to name Tango's foals after her too.

Here he is!

I think when his son is a few months old and clipped, that he'll look a lot like his dad!

I'm really excited that we have another Topper foal coming really soon out of my little black pinto mare Whyspr!
