My first Casper foal has Arrived!

Well, actually he arrived this past Wednesday, but this was the first chance I had to get photos of him. He has a lot of hair, it is about 2 inches long. I just couldn't resist the temptation to do a little clipping to see what was hiding under all that hair.

It wasn't easy getting these few photos. This little guy didn't want his picture taken. Kept hiding behind mom! :ugh: You almost need two people with a camera. One to stand on onside of the mare and another to stand on the other side for when the foal decides to hide behind mom. My 6 yr old granddaughter helped with some of the pics and then when the mare decided to get a bit feisty I had to recruit my daughter to help. Here he is after his little clip job. :bgrin

My next Casper foal won't be due until around April.

Kim - The last thing that Casper needs is a cookie! He already looks like a mare ready to foal! LOL

There are 13 more mares that are supposed to be in foal to Casper. Next ones due in April all the way to October! If they all make it here, it will be interesting to compare the traits that the foals have in common. It will give me a good idea the type mares he'll match up well with and those that he won't. Now that the babies have started to arrive, I can't wait for the next one! It is almost like waiting for a fix! LOL
