She had a bouncing baby boy on day 333. She was a trooper, a bit confused and wondered where in the heck that other horse came from. But I think she gets it now. He's doing well and been nursing. Whew, I'm glad this one is over.

The picture makes his head look huge but he wouldn't hold still so I had to hurry and take it.

And I love maidens reactions to babies! Last year hubby and I watched in amazement when our mean, pushy, bossy mare did a complete 180 in personality the moment she saw her baby, the look of love that came into her eyes and that mama nicker just melted our hearts
