Of all the days I could use a cold nose and a warm smile today was it.... Babs arrived from Florida safe and sound just before dinner time. She and Annie are hitting it off well.... she a little scared of Esther and Robby......lol I would be afraid of Robby too if I were a 10 pound dog! Here she is.... she is a miniature piebald dachshund and I adore her! she loves to cuddle and will follow me anywhere.... Might just have anothr bed dog as much as I believe in crating everyone....lol Meet Babs.

Oh Lyn she is just precious! Nothing like a warm soft hug from a 4 footed friend.

If ever there is anything that might help u feel better Babs could be it!! She is such a little sweetie and I know u will love her. She is always just totally thrilled to see me anytime she sees me and I know she will be that way with u. What is the saying " I would like to just be half the person my dog thinks I am". So true. Enjoy her!!!!

She is so cute!!! I did not know dachshunds came in so many colors!!!

Yes I am very glad she came! Dachshunds come in a rainbow of colors and patterns, solids, something and tans, dapples, piebalds, and double dapples ( these are like overos.... dont mix them) they come in 3 coats smooth, wire and long which really isnt very long, and mini and standard size. I think my Smooth Annie is a tweenie....she is 12.5 pounds and she isnt quite a year yet , not till may. Babs is 2 and is 10 pounds and a little chubby, she is much smaller than Annie. I have some others coming from Barbara Fischer in Tx later....she is cutting down. At least Im not as bad as Jennifer who brought like NINE home at once! lol

OK now Lyn there u go telling on me. LOL.

As one of our dog/cat show friends describes it

" Going to Barbaras house is like Doggie crack. There are so many really nice ones u just cant stop yourself and u end up bringing home more than u planned."

We have yet to leave texas from a visit with Barbara without our horse trailer and SUV both totally full of critters. Oh well, guess there are worse things to be hooked on.

Lyn, She's a cutie. We had a standard Black and tan doxie when I was growing up, she was an awesome dog, she lived to be 17 yrs old. Kathy
