Here is my stud from the "To Clip or not to clip" thread. I think he is so pretty. I clipped him without needing any restraint. I didn't even put a halter on him. He just stood there and thoroughly enjoyed it. When I was done he did a proud run around the paddock tossing his head, kicking, bucking and rearing then trotted back to me for more loving tee hee. I love my boy. Any color ideas on him? I was kinda thinking silver bay (mom is a silver dapple) but am not too sure. What do you all think? Here is Levi!

Silver bay seems to be a popular opinion and since I really don't know I'll just agree :bgrin One thing I do know is that he sure is a good looking little fellow

Awww, thank you everyone. I just love this little guy. So many times I am tempted to bring him in the house for a cuddle. :bgrin I already have a dane puppy and used to have a 35" tall dane so it isn't such a stretch. tee hee. I am really tempted to clip him entirely but I am going to try to wait a little longer and see if I can get him to shed out the rest of his coat on his own. Thanks again for your compliments!

You may want to finish clipping him out. When his hair grows back it will be a slightly different shade, at least for a while, and looks rather unusual! I had a silver bay and head clipped him. When he shed out, his head and neck were golden, but the rest of him was RED!! I wish I had gotten pix of it. Once we reclipped him, he went back to all the same color.

Weird. Why would it do that? I am really tempted to fully clip him anyways. tee hee I am dying to see what he really looks like under all that hair. lol. Thanks for the advice!
