Name Tags

Recently I have seen post where people found loose horses and with fires in my area, (evacuations) it had me thinking about name tags. I ordered tags for my halters so if anything happened when I am out with the minis, someone could call or know where they belong. I thought I would share. You might already of thought of this

I got dog tags from the vet to attach to my halters when trailering.

Yes. A 1 inch halter strap behind the ears will work with what bought. That is where I put mine. I have one halter that is padded across the head and nose, so it was to thick. I ended putting it on the chin strap that buckles/unbuckles. Moved it to the side where it is visible by the jaw line.

Absolutely wonderful! I taught equine first aid for years. One of our programs was for disaster preparedness. Having identification for your animals was something we strongly encouraged. This would be a fantastic option.
