I have a chihuahua that seems to have allergy problems. He has had this before and the shots have always helped. This time we had tried the shot and Biomax antibiotic the first visit. No improvement so two weeks later we get another shot and Aller-chlor tablets. Still no improvement so two weeks later we get another shot andf Medrol pills. Still no improvement and just don't what else to try. He mostly sneezes first thing in the morning 8 to 10 times in a row and just seems to feel bad. Any ideas what to try? Thanks for any suggestions

Have you tried Benadryl? What food is he eating?

How old is he?

I would try feeding him "plain" foods like scrambled eggs, boiled chicken etc. No store bought food which contains grains which could be bothering him.

I agree with the changing of his food, assuming he isn't already on something natural already. I feed Purina EN due to gastro-intestinal issues and it also cleared up all our alergy issues.

Also, there are store bought dry foods that are all real meat and not fillers and such that are known to help greatly with allergy issues.

I wish you the best. It's so sad when our little ones aren't feeling well.
