Need Help finding pics/info

I recently purchased a new mare back in April. I love her to death, but am very curious about what her dam/sire looked like. She is AMHA/AMHR registered but being new to the whole thing I have yet to get membership to either as well as transfer her paperwork. Her name is Westrocks Prince Di. Her dam is Olde Bridge Farms Golly Miss Molly and her sire is Mini Bits Kwik Pik. On her papers it says they are both Chestnut Pinto's but she is a solid Chestnut. I am wondering maybe if she is a Solid Pinto or if somehow her paperwork is wrong. Here are some pics of her:



She does appear to have random white dots as well as very small lacing on her back along her spine. I am just curious about her parents and any other info about her.

I don't have any pics for you, but I have an observation. I was struck by your mare's photo, she looked so much like a mare of mine, then when I saw the other post from the past about Miss Molly, one of her grandsires is Parrs Little Man a pinto. He is also the grandsire of my mare, who sired a solid chestnut stallion, the sire of my mare (Parrs Little Butch) so unless all the pintos in the pedigree are not homozygous for pinto, she does not have to be pinto. You could take a careful look at her belly for a white mark.

My mare is a solid chestnut, she had solid foals, and a pinto when bred to a pinto. Uncanny how the genetic look of this line has continued, as she looks so much like my mare, I like this look - you have a great looking girl.

Did you search the http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ sometimes there are pictures and additional info on there. Just because she has two pinto parents and she is solid does not make her pinto...she is solid welcome to the wonderful world of pinto genetics! Pretty girl.

She has white "splotches" on her belly, a few on her legs randomly place on her back and one under her forelock, however they aren't enough nor big enough to be called "pinto" markings. When bred to a solid she had a filly that had some sabino on her. She has never been bred with a pinto marked stallion before...well until now (maybe). having some issues with her previous owner lol. I just can't look up the pedigrees that will actually tell me and her sire's side say they are homozygous from what I read, but that is just tid-bits off of other things.

Her sire is listed as a solid bay in AMHA. She is AMHR registered but was hardshipped in so no info there on her sire and dam. She has had one foal in 2007, a solid black filly.

Here's her AMHA pedigree. Whoops, deleted it, as I just saw someone is posting it.

Her sire is listed as a solid bay (from a chestnut pinto stallion and a solid bay mare) not as a pinto, and her dam is just the opposite--from a solid bay stallion and a chestnut pinto mare. So, there are lots of solids back there, as well as pintaloosa -- going back to Orion Van't Huttenest !!

She just beautiful.

Her R papers list her sire as a chestnut pinto lol, but A papers don't list any color.

Are there any baby pics by chance or info on the one who bred/had her as a foal??

 

The AMHA is showing her breeder as P McElfresh or P Fishburn. If you contact the AMHA, they may be able to help you with information on contacting her breeders.
