I bought this halter and want to add some bling to it. Well I found these little hearts and I am having trouble making them stay on the halter. I have been using a hot glue gun and they just fall off. What else can I use to make them stay on?

This halter is from Sugar Rock Farm and it is a Bio show halter.

Please help I have a show on May 12th and would like to use this halter. The hearts make it look so much better.

The width of the halter is about 1/4".

Here are a couple of pictures.

When you use tacky glue, the trick is to get it really tacky before you stick on the heart.

So move the heart around in the glue on the spot you want it until it gets hard to move the heart, then move it to its permanent position and stick...it dries pretty fast too. Then wipe away any excess glue.

Don't forget to bring the glue with you to the show...just in case!
