New Foal Color

Well, before I start, I just want to say no...this is not my new foal. I am still waiting. However, a friend of mine emailed me a pic of her new foal, asking me what color I thought it was. The sire is a sorrel blanketed app, and the dam as you can see, is cremello. So what color do you think the foal is?? Thanks! :bgrin

Hopefully, as the foal's hair grows in more, the pink skin underneath will be lessened.... she's obviously a dilute of some kind since her dam is a cremello. :bgrin How about *pinkamino*?

well given the white blaze and 4 white socks i would say shes a minimal tobiano carrying the PINK dilute gene hahahahahaha

And really KayKay you should know by now that Tobiano does not carry face white- this foal should be tested for SPO (Shocking Pink Overo)

Well I am outraged..NO foal that young should wear a saddle!! This is screaming abuse!!

As for the color..I can clearly see the lighter shades..of pink..so it has def. a silver hidden pink factor.

Also I would have it tested for a FRAME!! :lol: :lol:

Looking at the filly and mare again, I can definitely see where the foal gets her "pinkness" from-- check out that mare's muzzle AND her eye! Ok so it's a photoflash, but she is "seeing pink" for sure!

Well apparently mare stare has gotten the best of the owner. Her little 8 year old daughter wants it to be a filly soooooo bad, and then she is going to keep it for herself. She even has her name picked out and everything, so her Mom fooled her this morning by placing the in the stall so it would show up on the b/w barn cam to fool the daughter! NASTY Mom!
