He is precious! It won't be long and you'll be needing to speak with your vet about gelding him. That will need to be done when he's less than 6 months old, maybe between 4 and 6 mo. old and before weaning. It's not too early to start a conversation about that to make sure your vet's confident knowing the difference there is with castrating donkeys/mules (there are many) as opposed to horses to make sure he/she can do it with no problems.

Already have that covered, we are gelding him at 3 months old, for that reason exactly. I did LOTS of research when he was born on the topic
