[ :saludando: Hi!

I'm from the south eastern part of Nebraska! I am some what newer to minis (and jumping 'full board' into it and LOVING it!!!)... but grew up with horses and started riding when I was 3. :xreiter: My life is my horses!!! I am a (almost) 33yr.old, single mother of 2 young boys and work full time for my parents (a mile down the road) for thier equine dental business (making dental floats). I have 6 minis (2 on the way). We have 3 that we will be showing this year (I can't wait!!!!).... I also have one big horse, 5yr.old 16 hd quarter gelding, Muddy that I raised as a baby... now my big baby!! But I ride/show in dressage with him and LOVE the dressage also! I also do drive some of our minis! I LOVEEEEEE that also! But 3 nights a week and weekends I ride my big horse and keep him over at my parents (My mom has a nice indoor dressage arena and step-dad team ropes)...

And also a equine artist... (in spare time......lol!

We started out in the miniatures in 1986 with our two children. Now we are enjoying them with our 4 WONDERFUL precious grandchildren. We went from hunters jumpers to miniatures & now are concentrating on shetlands........................... We have shown 4-6 shows a year doing everything ourselves & have made some wonderful friends along the way. To me that is what counts in the long run.

Hi from SE Wisconsin. We're retired and most of the information about us and our horses are on our webiste (below). This site is awesome. I was so glad to find people who share my interest and are willing to talk and exchange ideas. That is something that I greatly missed when I was showing my quarter horse. I've been around horses most of my life but just got our first mini 2 years ago. We now have 3 - one of each and older gelding, a 3 yr old stallion, and an 8 month old filly. I really like the pintos! This is our newest girl.

I just have to add that while they all look so cute, Camomille, that Sam has a gorgeous head!

Oh, Slaneyrose, my sister and I went to Ireland on a riding vacation (beautiful place) about 10 years ago and I grew quite fond of that Guiness! It's the only beer type drink I like.

Welcome from Southern Oregon! You'll love this forum! I've only been into mini's since 2004 but am up to 11 now with 4 more on the way(I do have 2 for sale). I have always been horse crazy and have ridden most of my adult life(I'm 46 now). After a bad injury I switched to mini's and have never regretted it! I just love all my critters. Please check out my web-site for lots of pics, there is a link on my signature line.

Hi,

Welcome from the Southwest, New Mexico...no, you don't need a passport to visit here. :bgrin We only have to live here for 2 more years then we can move to where we want, TX!

My name is Shawna, my husband is Dave. I've had big horses all my life, started riding without any assistanc at the age of 3. We've had minis since 1999 when we bought our first pregnant mare. We have been up to 25 at once but I'm more comfortable around 20. We have 18 now with 5 foals on the way.....maybe 6. I do still have my 16hh QH that I've had for most of his life. He is the mascot and doesn't like the minis but doesn't want them to leave either.

The rest of our herd can be seen on our website.

We got into this to raise miniature mules. We now have 4 with 3 more coming this spring. These are our mules so far:

Majestic (Maestro), now 4

Marilyn (Sunny), now 3

Hello from the NewMy Webpage

Hampshire seacoast. At present we have one paint gelding, and nine minis two of which are due to foal in april. They are bred to my stallion Rolling Ridge Rum Runner aka Fred.

Welcome from Massachusetts! I am new to the forum but am now totally addicted. I mostly lurk in the background enjoying the helpful hints and loving the pictures. I have had minis for 4 years now; SRF Monte Carlo (aka Rocky) and SRF City Lights (aka Rascal). Rascal and Rocky are 4 and 5 years old and are full brothers. I don't show, but love their companionship, listening to them chewing their hay, and just hanging out together. I have been teaching Rascal to drive for the past year. Hope to make greater headway this summer.

Again welcome.

I got into minis about 3 years ago, and remember coming to this forum when it was just a giant sale board look alike.

: I currently own 8 minis, with 3 on the way, and try to show all my foals or place them in show homes. I am only 21, I go to school full time, like Erica (my idol :aktion033: ), and teach riding lessons for a 'living', and show on the winter circuit some. (Dressage and hunter/jumper)

My family are Not horse people, and asides the auctal farm, anything related to the horses is my cradle to rock so to speak.

I am first and foremost a big horse person, but couldn't resist my tinys! This forum has been my life line and gold mine of information as well as support and good friends! :aktion033:

Here's a shot of my newest foal, Blossom...

Hi, this was a good idea!! We are in central florida and I had appys and thoroughbreds and showed them in pretty much all classes- english, western. halter, jumping, speed classes etc when I was young. I show dogs, have for about 30 years now-- chinese cresteds, affenpinschers and mini dachshunds. We have owned minis for 8 years now and have close to 50 :new_shocked: We like colorful minis especially appys, overos, pintos, dilutes and the flashy solids. But more important we are breeding for correct, athletic, well bred minis and own direct sons and daughters of Sids Rebel, Champion Farms Nighthawk, Little Kings Black Velvet, Bond Peppy Power, and up close Rowdy and Gold Melody Boy in our herd.We enjoy driving a lot and plan to do more in the future. Please come visit my website-
