hello again ,

just a quick note, to aknowledge my husbands good work . A few days ago he saw me struggeling to level the ground for a round pen . Yesterday, a man that he had telephoned came out with his tractor , and leveled the area for me . He also made a big hole and burried my pile of shavings and poop , so I would have a beautiful clean pasture and work area. It took the entire day , and cost Lorenz a lot of money , but now I have a beautiful ( although a little too small) sand filled (10 inches) round/ oval pen.

He now asks me before giving food, and seems to be a lot more relaxed about the ponys. I have stopped talking so much about them , and have had time (now that the hotel is closed for the season)to give hubby a lot more TLC... Looking back ..I think we were both very tired , and stressed , and both felt a little ignored ....I was filling up with pony love , and he was just running on empty... Hope we can learn from this , and try to aviod this situation next season.

Maybe you two can take a nice picnic and relax and talk.

Talking is always good!

It's hard to find that extra time and energy for each other sometimes, but it sure is important. I'm glad he helped you out and things will slow down for awhile

This is exactly what I was hoping for. You give a little, he gives a little and everyone is happy! This is terrific news.

I am so glad you all are working it out.

I always say Communication is the MOST Important thing in a marriage. If you each dont know the other is having problems, it can go bad quick.

Sounds like you both are doing your part to recognize the others needs...

Awww Krissy, I am so happy to hear your good news and that you and hubby are making some serious progress towards a future which includes your horses.

Sometimes when you get caught up in the stress of everyday things (especially your own business) you tend to forget the other person. Maybe he realizes what is important to You & realizes you were serious about leaving. Maybe he realizes he is Madly in

with you. Maybe you realized the qualities that are in HIM :love that drew you to him in the first place. Maybe with the hotel closed you and him can have some quality time to enjoy one another again

Maybe part of marriage IS having to say your sorry (sometimes not in word but deed)

It is NEVER easy to admit that MAYBE we haven't been the best hubby OR wife OR companion because we tend to get so self absorbed with our OWN wants we don't see the big picture

It is easy to say "SEE YA" the hard part of marriage is learning from it and knowing their IS another person in that relationship that has opinions-feelings & emotions too! So

and I will

I'm so pleased that the two of you are working it out and talking, and seeing how the other one is feeling.

Best of luck to you both!

That's wonderful news. Sometimes it takes a bit of a shake up to make us realise that we need to take a long hard look at our relationships.

He laughed and walked away, I do try not too be on so much when he is home.

Not easy but I try.
