So..I looked on mapquest (not always the most reliable source!) and none of the routes they listed are anything like the directions posted on the website (they had it coming off Rte 93 and mapquest mentioned nothing about 93). So...anyone know the best way to get there coming from Bangor, Maine? Yeah, keep in mind I have to get up at 3 so I can be out of my barn by 4:30 so the easiest way would be much appreciated!

So, who's going and how can others recognise you? hehe

I'm going with my friend, Cis, but we are coming up from CT so I can't help you on directions from Maine.

Maybe someone will see your post and can direct you.

I'm coming up from the NY City area and my MapQuest directions mentioned 93. I'll be bringing 5 horses (one of whom is the infamous sure-to-be-naughty yearling colt!). I did MapQuest, too and didn't notice a difference in the directions that were posted on the Northeast Club's website (www.northeastminis.org).

We're leaving tomorrow night at around midnight, as it's a 6 hour drive for us. Look for the bleary-eyed couple with the naughty yearlings! Good thing Joyce and Cis are donating the coffee and donuts! I'll need IV caffeine!

I got a count last night -- 18 in Liberty, which must be some sort of record! I am putting all of mine in (what the heck, the entry fees support the rescue horses!). That's my horses' reward -- to run around and play after showing all day.

It looks like the turnout of horses and spectators will be solid. And the weather's supposed to be glorious!

I was just telling hubby... right off off 93 there is a "rest area" we should all meet there and drive on over  for the people who havent been there before
