Just sharing, not looking forward to Winter :cold: 4 degrees here :new_shocked:

LOL, I think we got a bit more snow up here Mary. Took these of our back yard this morning. The old sheltie on the left sank up to his tummy when he went down the steps!

I saw that on the news this morning...guess I'll quit whining about how much we got, LOL.

I think if it had been colder here we would have had the same, as it poured rain all night and morning before the snow started here. Snowsquall warnings here again today

Oh my goodness, I am not looking forward to that.

What is wierd is the wind is coming from the south, should be warm wind not so cold.

My guys think this is too much  all coming in now, heading for shelter, wind is bad here.

That show is absolutly beautiful especially since it it 3,000 miles away.

Fall seems to have arrived here in Central California while I was away. Temps are now down into the 70's and low 80's. Nice break from the high 90's to 100 before I left. I heard that it even rained (sprinkled) while I was gone.

Well I am in Ontario, near Ottawa and no snow here, YET. It does look beautiful though and I don't mind it untill about mid-January, after Christmas it could all go away but for the most part I do enjoy the change of seasons. I can hardly wait to see how my this year's minis react to seeing their first snow and my 7 month old goldren retriever will more than likely LOVE IT, lol.

SO what do ppl think are we goin to have a bad winter...or not

i am really happy i have an indoor to work my horses....it just gets soo cold!!!

Ya'll can have that mess!!

I'll stay here in central Tx.

Nice pictures and area

My dogs and I like snow. When we lived in Southern CA we drove 1 1/2 hour to walk in snow with them.

This early morning was 52 degrees and I thought brrrrrrrrrrrrrr pretty cold in Texas.

No snow here in Quebec either. Hope it holds off until just before Christmas. We are in the process of building a run in shed/barn for my 2 riding horses for the winter as they do not fit in our barn, ceiling is to low, perfect for the minis though and my 2006 arabian filly will fit in as well, though hopefully she sells soon. We are building a insulated shed that is attached to the barn and I just have to walk in haymow and throw hay down directly into to the shed which will be good. That way all I have to do is bring fresh water to them everyday and if we have time we will break the window out and make a door so heat can go in the shed, if not enough time we will just take glass out and leave open so heat can go in. We will have 2 stalls in it for them at night and a door that we will close at night to keep the cold out. Will be like a 2 stall barn. We are getting ready to put the cement in for the floor, will also put rubber mats over the cement once it is dry and bed the 2 stalls. I can't wait for it to be done. SHANA

Edited to add: It will also have light so can see at night.
