Well, I'm finally back from OK! I've never been so glad to see that Welcome to Texas sign or my bed (oh, yeah, and my husband!). We had an excellent time in OK bringing home at least one grand champion on each of the five horses we took in various divisions.

I do want to take time to publically thank Bob and Vicki Roberson for taking care of two of our horses while we were at Pinto World. It took a load off of my mind (and pocket book!) knowing that they were in good hands.

Here are the high points:

Claremore -

Heaven's Gate Special Design (Foundation Classic Shetland yearling mare) - 2 Grands and 1 Champion of Champions

Shadow Fax Music to My Heart - Reserve Stake CP Driving

Fowler's Medicine Mans Snow Feather - Grand Champion Youth mini

CSF Vince Gill - 1st youth CP driving

Kendall Wheeler - Youth High Point Miniature

Pinto World - 4 World Championships

CSF Rosie Flores - Undefeated World Champion Hunter Pony Mare (unofficially retired for a couple foals!), 3rd Trail in Hand, 10th Tobiano Pony Color

CSF Vince Gill - World Champion in Mini B Trail in Hand and Mini B Tobiano Color. Top Tens in Hunter, Jumping, and Driving.

Shadow Fax Music to My Heart - World Champion Mini Trail in Hand. Top Tens in Jumping and Driving.

Area V -

No major victories but points earned in all classes!

All and all, worth the trip!!! I'll update the webpage as soon as I get my pictures in!

:aktion033: WOW, CARIN....!!!! CONGRATS ON ALL THE WINS...!!! Isn't Kendall just a doll.....hee, hee.....well after all those shows, your pocketbook is probably screaming!!!!!!!!!

You gonna hit Congress and AMHR Nationals, too?????

Again, congrats, congrats, congrats!!!!!!!

: Congratulations! What a great show. :aktion033: Don't you wish they were all the good! Bob

Pocketbook hurts a little but training fees are due so it will only be temporary. I do need to go thru all of my gas receipts which will hurt. I just closed my eyes every time I filled up! What was really expensive on this trip was the pictures at Pinto World! Sorry, I'm not paying that! We did most of our pictures at Shawnee.

Bob, if they were all that good then it wouldn't be a challenge!

Good job, Carin. :aktion033: Congratulations to Rosie!

I have to say I have no idea how you managed to set up and tear down stalls 3 times in a week and a half! That is a lot of work!
