The BEAUTIFUL Pacific Northwest
It's been some nippy nights here lately, snow isn't melting to fast, even with

the nice days.

The clear sky is making for some beautiful sunsets.

This is Mt Rainier at about 4:15 tonight.....

It is beautiful isn't it?!!

We never tire of looking at it, in all of it's moods and seasons.

We've a moon working towards full and the other night it was so fantastic, with the glow of the moon on the glacier......couldn't pick it up with the digital camera though..........dang!

Sure looks cold up there though at over 14,000 feet!

I've been there!! I've been there!!!!!!!!!!!! lol! I went for the first time this past summer. It deffinetly is very beautiful!

Just beautiful Nancy. We are so blessed to be able to have those kinds of views!

That is one gorgeous view! You are sooo lucky!!! I remember when I lived in CA and we would travel. the views in New Mexico and AZ...what memories this brings back.

I am so glad you posted this picture, I often think on my way to work, if I only had my camera with me!!

Some of the sunrise views of Mt. Rainier are just as breathtaking, but it's lovely to see at sunset as well.

I sure am enjoying these sunny (but cold) days!!

Our mountains here are some of the most spectacular in the lower 48, that is for sure! I live in the Cascade Range foothills, I have always said that when I die please cremate me and scatter my ashes over the beautiful Mt. Index, my favorite, most beautiful, most sacred place. It would make it even more special if they would carry me up there on the back of a horse, but try as I might I never could get one of my kids to become a rider. ;)

Lyn, you come on up here! There are many, many forum members that will entertain you when you come!!!
