Cute! I'd bet he will be a sorrel. I don't want to take away from your news but thought some photos of different colors might help.

Here are a couple of baby pics of my similar colored mules:

Jester at 8 hours old, still unfolding. Registry thought he would be a Palomino (?) He had the pink around his eyes and light skin.

Then this is Wylie. The registry thinks she is a light sorrel but everyone else says Palomino. She had/has pink skin, white mane/tail.

thank you minimule for the pictures of your sweet little ones....how beautiful they are!!

I was thinking maybe a sorrel..but nis hoofs and his mane are white.....I am un aware 0f mule colors, heck, still trying to figure out aLL THe mini colors LOL.....healso has a red cross on his shoulders....man, I am so excited about this little guy!!! Do you think the cross will stay? He hasn't uttered a sound as of yet......but has pooped and eating well.....its funny..mom lifts her hind leg way up when he nurses...I am just so thankful all went well....was going to put up her camera today as it was my day off..she sure surprised us all...sneaky ole woman!
 
AWW! I am confused is he mini? Minimule's got me confused hehe.

i would guess yes... the donkeys all keep their crosses. but we've only had one mule born here, our little white snowflake Eve just a week before your mule foal, and she has no cross so i have no personal experience...

LOVE his color, i would also say he will be sorrel like the first one Shawna (minimule) posted, Jester. we have a big riding molly that same color, just beautiful - especially in the summer when they are slick and the sun shines on them :bgrin
