I like that name! I have been racking the brains for a suitable name. Anymore?



BTW-Deb- I always have orbs in every picture taken in that barn. We have laughed that it is "haunted" -shades of Ghost Hunters here---but we literally cannot take one pic without an orb in it. :new_shocked: Some horses have many more than others. One blue roan filly had so many, we had to take her totally to another barn to take pics for AMHA. Sometimes there are 20 to 30! It does not happen in any of the other two barns.



Anybody with any suggestions????? We think it is a good thing-the horses are very happy there. Maybe happy spirits?

He looks to be the spitting image of his mom. She is a gorgeous buckskin pinto with black mane and black streaks in her tail. My husband says she has a "skunk tail" but we LOVE it.

: Dad is my smokey black White Russian son, Sunwood Jumpin Jack Flash. I thought the colt was a blk/white pinto when he was first born but as he dried off, he got MUCH lighter in color. He has his mom's skunk tail so that is wonderful

: My husband always laughs and says they change colors 10 times before they finally decide what they like :bgrin I am always anxious to do that first summer clip to see what REALLY lies beneath all that hair !!! We are small- we only have 4 more due all year. Plus 3 mini donkey babies this year.

Orbs are wonderful things and you should feel very blessed. I do love the colt, he has presence already. The only name that came to me when I read your first post was "Justin" as in maybe "Silver Belles Justin Time For 2007" (34 characters) (Justin for short?) seeing as he was born 2 minutes after....whatever his name he is super.

No clue for a name? I think that what was mentioned, "Silver Belle's..." sounds special. You could put most anything with it as well. It is so versitile. I was thinking about his Sires name, and you said that he is a near image of him, Jumpin' Jack Flash... and mixing it a little with the New year and Silver Belle, and it could mix into something like Silver Belle's New Year's Flash, or Silver Belle's Flash Forward, or Silver Belle's Don't Look Back.... or maybe something not related to the Sire, but different, Silver Belle's Black Eyed Pea ( you know, black Eyed Peas and Hog Jawl)

Just trying to toss some thoughts your way, maybe help get some ideas churning in you. I'm sure that what ever the name you choose, it will be fitting, and be the perfect name for him. Have fun!

For those of you who may not know the family of "Silver Belle Farm"

they are awesome people, who truly love their horses. We

purchased a weanling from them and couldn't be happier. Look for him
