Trouble had a beautiful colt at 8pm!! She's been looking very ready the last couple days but testing at 10% with the Mother Nature strips. This evening at 5 she finally tested at 95% and it's a good thing we were watching her on camera and not relying on the Equifone because she foaled standing up

We now have two healthy beautiful colts for the year - I am thrilled

Not sure on color, he looks buckskin but also has shoulder barring and maybe some barring on neck/legs? What would you call that? Mama is grulla and sire is buckskin

Pictured at 15 and 30 minutes old

He is sired by a Buckeroo son, Reserve World Champion Little Kings Buckeroo Cavalier, and out of my BOB daughter, Buck On's Bad Girl

*happy sighs*

I LOVE the sexy " naked on a bear skin rug" look in the second photo! He is very very pretty. You can already tell he is going to have an awesome neck! Congrats.

Congrats he is gorgeous. A friend has a half brother to him that is a grulla, out of the same mare.

VERY NICE!! I would love to see dried off pics. Maybe he is a dunskin. He has a red tinge to him like bay so maybe he will be smokey black? Best bet is have him tested for creme and then the rest is a bonus!! We have the same deal with cream and dun except we have to add silver to it as well, so we get some crazy colors!! Whatever the color he is beautiful and unique.

Thanks everyone!! I was so happy when he was born and he stood and nursed immediately that I started crying LOL I'm a dork. I'm just so thrilled to have two healthy happy babies

I LOVE HIM - he is so leggy, necky, straight-legged and UPRIGHT! I can't wait to start showing both boys

Eli is tiny tiny and I got used to that but then this boy just kept unfolding and unfolding

His color is strange, very rich golden but like Blue Star said he has a reddish cast to his coat and lots of strange shadowing all over his neck and face. His face is very dark and his body is light but very rich colored. It'll be interesting to see what he ends up as.

Dried off and unfolded pics probably on Friday or Saturday - I have to work till then

:wub Gorgeous boy!!!! Congratulations!!! Maybe he is a smutty buckskin, being as he is so dark in certain areas and has the barring?

He is just stunning. Could he be a dunskin?

Dry pics?!?

Congratulations!

Wow even brand new u can tell he is stunning! The dark shadings do sound like a dun trait but then new foals can have that without being dun. But since he has a parent that is I bet he is some dun color, lucky you!
