Well the new Doxie chicks are here so here they are.... first is little Coral, she is coming 3 in June and is 6 pounds soaking wet with a rock in her pocket. Barry calls her Esthers MiniME but I call her our eternal puppy. She is soooo cute and in spite of her small size had a litter of 4 by herself!

She is light red with a white spot on her chest. She is 1/2 pibald and 1/2 English cream. I am already smitten!

Next is Baby Blue, coming 2 years old 8 pounds... somewhat shy still but a good girl.

She is a dark blue and tan.

Finally Faye, she is a dark irish setter red.... EXTREMELY attached to me already which is lovely except she isnt too fond of Robby at this point. If that doesnt change she will have to go live with someone with no babies. She is Champion sired and a wonderfully obedient dog.she is 11 pounds and 3 years old.

These are sort of like minis and potato chips.... you cant have just one.

Thanks for letting me share.

WE got our first one in October last year.... visited Jenn in FL in January fell in love with hers., Contacted Barbara to get two more... got talked into 4 more with a too good to be true deal.... so now we have 6, 4 girls and two boys. and we are stopping there...... They dont all run loose in the house at once. I think Barry allowed it because he is gone so much for work.... he probably figures it keeps me too busy to complain about his long work hours! lol. They are small and dont take up much room. we have a kennel building where the boys live and the girls are in the house. They are crated at night and out in the yard most of the day except for Coral and Blue. They are in and out of the playpen in the kitchen.

ps. Barbara has some lovely wires she wants to sell to cut down her numbers even more. she has a fairly large Doxie kennel and it is getting too much work for her alone.

: They are all just as sweet as can be! Will you eventually be breeding them? They are too cute!

Yes I will be breeding them. Thats why they came..... Barbara is getting out of most of her breeding and we are just taking up her slack I guess.....lol She is concentrating on the English Creams and Jen and I have the assorted others.... I like the spots and dilutes. When you breed a spot to a solid you dont get any spots that generation other than like Corals chest spot or toes..... then you breed THAT one to a spot and you get spots. Here are my two spots or piebalds. Babs and Laredo.

Oh they are so pretty!

That Coral is the sweetest IMO, I always love the little ones!

She looks sweet and kind!!!

Yes, that is the only thing I have found about bringing in adult dogs into the home they don't always mesh with the family!! Can't really blame them my family is half mad    but it is a must for us that all our dogs like children and are generally tolerant little animals. Of course, my kids have been raised to be equally respectful!

Congrats!!

Aren't they cute! Quite the pack Lyn, I don't know how you do it! :new_shocked: You can send Faye up here to the hollow my kids are all grown and gone and Aidan is here so seldom.
