Our rescue doggiehad puppies!

[SIZE=15pt]Missy our rescued doggie, delivered 6 new puppies this AM! She went into labor around 1:15 AM and finished delivering at 3:45 AM! Momma and babies are doing just fine! She had 4 boys and 2 girls! They are so small but very healthy![/SIZE]

I had a rescue Moggy in, kittens on her, in kit again. When she had the new litter she tried to hide them under the blanket- God alone knows what had happened to her before.....when I finally got her to accept I was NOT waiting with a bowl of water she kept getting out to thank me, in between every kitten (and she has 11!!) she got out and crawled all over me. (I am WILDLY allergic to strange cats, had a rash for a week!!)

Then I sat and thought, when she was curled around them all, cleaned up, clean bed and purring and full of good food

"How can something that was worthless become, in a moment, priceless??"

Guess you know the answer, now!!

Oh Bill, is this the little gal you got from the pound? I didn't even know she was pregnant, or is this another one you got... what type of dog is she and what type of puppies are they? mixed breed or pure bred? They are so precious!!! Our little Annie (miniature schnauzer) is due the 22nd of next month.. we are so anxious for this litter....

Missy is part Jack Russell & Chihuahua mix!

The puppies

look like they may have a little Beagle in them!

But, it too soon to tell! Probably Hienz 57! Missy's a great Mom and loves her babies! Our vet says this is her first litter! So, as soon as she weans her puppies we will have her spade! We may keep one of the puppies and of course Missy's staying!
