Appy Hollow has a 370+ day mare now. She took the mare to the vet school and they found the baby in foaling position and the mare starting to dialate slightly--that was three days ago!! Only bred one cycle and confirmed in foal according to the owner. Wow!!

Well after reading everybody's replies I guess I shouldn't be complaining to much yet but OMG those sleepless nights are a killer, especially when you have to get up and go to work

OK. I know this is an old post but I thought it would give others a bit of peace of mind like it has given me. My mare is currently at 375 days and doesn't look like anything is going to happen today. I think I read somewhere that someone had a foal go 403 days too. Does anyone want to add any long gestations to this?

Well, I'm glad to see this thread come up again! Or not!

Here I sit with one mare at 330 today and she still looks to be about 2 weeks off. Bagging up, but she has a loooong ways to go.

I hope your 330 day mares goes real soon for you!!

My mares are at like days 315 (maiden), 328 (previously foaled at 326) and 331 (2 prior foals but unclear how long she carried). To me, they each show somewhat confusing signs and the one who has the biggest udder and has worked on that udder the longest is my maiden. Thank goodness for the cameras making it easier to keep an eye on them.

I do NOT want to hear any of this! And for sure I don't want my mares hearing it! Good grief! How do y'all keep your sanity?

Ack I don't want to hear this! My "soonest" mare is at... 319 today (320 when anyone reads this) IIRC, and I'm so anxious! I couldn't survive to day 375! LOL

Well, my closest mare to foaling is at 352 days and her dates bred are very certain. She was due the 14th, and has no udder development at all to go by. The farm she came from tells me last year no udder either till foal arrived (that filly was early, around 300 days, and didn't make it sadly).

At least the alarms aren't going off constantly (yet)!!! I'm feeling pretty rested compared to some.

331 days!

Sorry, I couldn't help it, but that is the longest I have ever had one go over (of course that is on my first and only baby that was due this year!)

Sheesh! No fair. Isn't any else into the 370 range? 376 today. I am going CRAZY!!!
