We had a picture taken of our place and thought I'd share. Unfortunately, we couldn't get any of the pastures in the picture, but you've seen one pasture, you've seen them all. Hope you like.

Would you like to adopt at 16 year old girl with 2 riding horses and 10 minis? Just wondering.

It looks very pretty! I like your solar panels, too! Looks like you spend as much time mowing as we do! LOL! I'm also jealous because your barn is "right there" by your house. Mine is below our house and in the summer I can't even see it for the trees. It's far enough away that I always take the four wheeler to it. the house and barn colors are so pretty. Everything looks so pastoral and serene!

Did you hire someone to take the shot, or did a company just do it and then show up at your door and try to sell it to you?

The reason I ask is that we want another aerial photo done. About 25 years ago some company flew overhead and took one without our knowledge and then someone showed up at the door with the photo. We actually purchased it, but it bugged me because I would have moved the vehicles out of the driveway (like my teenage son's old clunker, LOL) and at least made sure the lawn was mowed.

I checked into one company that does aerial photos and they said they would be in our area at the end of October, but I wanted a picture taken in July when it was green and pretty... not after a frost when all the trees were dead!

Can you tell me what company you used?

I do envy you all the trees and green grass Dixie_Belle. It's beautiful. Almost everyone can see their place via Google Earth of Virtual Earth. I grabbed a pic of my daughter's farm from there.
