It's been a LONG time coming! Ever since I was a wee little thing. . .about 3 years of age. . my true love and passion has been Tybee Island, GA. Before horses ever came along and any other boy, I passionately loved Tybee Island. I was ridiculed and not understood by classmates here in SC but in GA I was free from everything - atleast for a week
. I would cry when we had to leave, my heart would break and I would be depressed for about a month after returning home. SC didn't, and never has felt like home. When I think of Tybee - I cry from loving it so much and for missing being there. My childhood dream was to live down there. . .and now it is coming true.
In 2007 , myself and my fiance Jordan started dating, and became high school sweethearts. He knew nothing about my passion for Tybee Island or horses. . .but it didn't take him long! Since then, we formed JNK Ranch (the J from his name and the K from mine - the N is like a "and") and decided we would focus on pinto performance miniature horses - we've grown from one miniature colt (Sampson was 2 when me and Jordan met) to 2 senior stallions, 2 junior stallions, 2 senior mares, 1 junior mare and an unborn foal. . . .and growing!
I started college in 2008 immediately after graduation, and May 2010 I will "walk" across that stage and graudate from college with a Veterinary Assistant & Professional Groomer's degree. Jordan will not graduate until about 2013-2014 (depending on how many summer classes he can take) with a degree in Criminal Justice (would like to work for higher ranking fields than a police officer) and after that. . .guess what?

[SIZE=10pt]Some of you know that the plans were to get married in 2011 (we've been engaged since April 2008) but those plans have since changed. I still live at home with my family - I am the only child so it's not a huge deal lol. I will be working and living at home with my family saving every penny that I possibly can so that I can have a huge downpayment to place on our dream farm in GA. We are hoping to get married in September 2014 as of right now and I will be giving the announcement to everyone here at LILBEGINNINGS so if anyone wishes to come, they may!. . . . . . You gotta admit that minis in a wedding will be awesome!
