Please pray for Theresa

I am sending my prayers. I would hope one doctor would at least step up and help her. The medical profession seems to be getting scary all the time.

Can she just park herself in the hospital and refuse to leave ?

Is there a TV station with a viewer advocate that we can email and get some press on the doctor and hospital ?

Let us know if we can make some noise and help.

I would hope someone in Oklahoma would PLEASE call out the media on this and hopefully it would get Nationwide attention and somebody would come and help Teresa. Sitting here knowing our dear friend is bleeding to death and nobody will help here is just insanity. What is this world coming to when Doctors are more worried about loosing their butt than saving a life!

She needs to go back to the ER and sit and demand to talk to a patient advocate for help and if that gets her nowhere, Art needs to threaten with a lawsuit.

The squeaky wheel gets some oil on it... Art needs to make some demands for her now. Hopefully she is on antibiotics too and something for the pain. Find a hospital that is not For profit for one thing, the For profit hospitals tend to send folks away that do not have good insurance & hope they will go to a non-profit.

I thought of Theresa as soon as I opened my eyes this morning. Surely there's someone somewhere who can do something about seeing to it that she gets some medical care. I thought of the media, thought of an attorney, and have been racking my brain trying to come up with anything else that might help. Is there a larger/better known hospital somewhere near that Art can take her to....tell them her story....and demand (if necessary) that she be admitted. IMO it's obvious that the Drs and hospital he's dealing with right now are not going to help. He needs to find someone who will....even if it means taking her to another town.

Another thought just occurred to me. If he calls an ambulance they have to take her to the ER. I don't think they can refuse admittance to a patient who comes in by ambulance, and that way they won't just park her in the waiting room for hours.

If money is an issue and is keeping them from calling an attorney I'll donate to help out. It can't be much but it will be something.

I CAN believe what is happening to her, I had to become heck on wheels to get Larry his care and we were so lucky to have had great insurance! I can't imagine what would happen,if you don't have it. They just want you to quietly go away and die.

I am stunned and horrified that our system has come to this due to worries about malpractice lawsuits

My prayers are with Theresa and Art during this horrible ordeal. I did wonder if maybe what burst was an ovarian cyst? I know that they are extremely painful, but not lifethreatening, so perhaps that is what happened - just hoping that is the case I guess, would really hate to think that a doctor/facility would be so cruel here in USA as to endanger the life of one of it's US citizens while still providing care to 1000,s of people who are NOT (but that is a different rant).

I just read this, and can not believe what the medical profession has become. Theresa and her family are in my prayers. I am sure Art is doing everything he can for her. I do not watch Operah, I am sure I spelled that wrong, but I bet if she did a story on medical care it would get ome notice.
