My husband found a lump on the right side of his neck The ear nose & throat man ordered a Ct scan which showed it more clearly . It is large grape sized, at least, and in between his parotid & submandibular gland It seems to be a lymph node. He is having it removed Monday We are both nervous wrecks Did not expect anything like this, but who does? He has always been the healthy one. He was told it may be a benign mass but also may well be lymphoma. I know this can be very treatable but is still a very scary thing

Please keep him in your prayers he is the center of my world!

Done deal, Linda.....MAN! You have not had a good year, my dear!

You certainly have my best wishes that it will be the least worrisome issue and easily taken care of so he and you can get back to your everyday lives, which we all know are stressful enough w/out scares like this.

Please keep us informed when you can as we will be keeping him close to our hearts for a swift healing.

It is still small and until you find out what it is exactly you still have hope. When you know what you are dealing with then you can make an informed decision. Until then it is all speculation.

Think positively.

Thoughts and prayers headed your way! Like Kathi says, keep up those positive thoughts!

Sending lots of prayers...my sister had two enlarged lymph nodes removed recently - one under the armpit and one under her breast. They removed both - and thank the good Lord they were nothing. Hers were there for a long time too. I'll be praying this is the same for your hubby..((hugs))

Thoughts and prayers!

Linda,

I will pray for your husband and you. My father-in-law just went through the same thing, SAME location. His was benign, but it is MUCH larger than a grape. He still has to have it removed, which can be tricky, but at least it's benign. I will pray for the same for your husband!!!

(((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))

I have been there, done that, I know that the waiting is the hardest part. Prayers and good thoughts for a positive outcome.
