Profile Pictures -- Question / Request

Before the new format, which BTW I love, we could have both an avatar and a profile picture. I liked being able to put faces with names... Is there a way to have that feature again, where we can have our avatars and a seperate personal photo?

I generally like the new format, except for two things that simply don't work for me:

The pale color on the text lines below the topic title are unreadable (at least for most people over 40).

I thought the mouse-over preview was supposed to be optional...it is extremely annoying and I would love to turn it off, but don't see where I can.

Jill, I love your about me page too. Maybe you should offer to make them for others for a fee.

Oh, for sure, I'm not gifted in that area. All I did was basically cut and paste some things from my website. Looking at my "About Me" page here, it's out of date. I need to tweek at some point
