Tremor be sure you are not under dosing on the dewormer. If you underdose it wont work. When using ones like Safeguard and Ivermectin the safety rate is extremely high. YOu have to be more careful with the Gold and equimax dewormers. I know a lot that really underestimate what their horse weighs and then the dewormer is not nearly as effective.
Also was he dusted for lice? Looks like he could have had them and that will also keep them from gaining weight. Ivermectin helps with lice but the dust will get them gone totally
